After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit Tianmen Mountain, a UNESCO-related geopark and one of Hunan’s most iconic natural landmarks, renowned for its heavenly caves, dramatic cliffs, and cultural significance. You can experience Cable Car, holds the title of the world’s longest alpine cable car, stretching 7,455 meters (4.6 miles) from the foot to the summit of Tianmen Mountain.
Also, you can experience Glass Skywalk, a transparent glass pathway extending over 60 meters (200 feet) with a vertical drop of hundreds of meters, offering an adrenaline-fueled “walking on air” experience. After that, drive to Fenghuang ancient town. Fenghuang Ancient Town, located in Xiangxi, Hunan Province, is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. The Tuo River flows through the town, with stilted buildings standing along the water. Surrounded by green mountains, it resembles a phoenix spreading its wings. Inside the town, ancient streets and lanes crisscross, and there are many historical sites such as Shen Congwen’s former residence. Additionally, the rich ethnic cultures, including Miao songs and dances as well as silver craftsmanship, are fascinating, making the town like a quaint yet vivid landscape painting.
