After that, drive to Fenghuang ancient town. Fenghuang Ancient Town, located in Xiangxi, Hunan Province, is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. The Tuo River flows through the town, with stilted buildings standing along the water. Surrounded by green mountains, it resembles a phoenix spreading its wings. Inside the town, ancient streets and lanes crisscross, and there are many historical sites such as Shen Congwen’s former residence. Additionally, the rich ethnic cultures, including Miao songs and dances as well as silver craftsmanship, are fascinating, making the town like a quaint yet vivid landscape painting.
